What we store when you create an account and take a mock test, why we store it, and how you can remove it.

Last updated: 31 July 2026

Account data we store

To take a mock test you need an account. We store your email address, a display name and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile details Google shares (name and profile picture). Passwords are never stored by us in readable form — authentication is handled by our managed authentication provider, which stores only a securely hashed password.

Test and performance data

When you submit an attempt we store the test taken, your answers, score, accuracy, time spent and the timestamp. This is what powers your result analysis, attempt history, performance dashboard and leaderboard rank. Attempts are linked to your account so your progress is available on every device you sign in on.

Why we store it

Purely to deliver the features you asked for: restoring an interrupted test, showing your history and analytics, verifying scores server-side so the leaderboard stays fair, and letting you sign in again on another device. We do not sell, rent or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see your data

Your attempts and profile are protected by database access rules that restrict reads and writes to your own account. The public leaderboard shows only a display name and ranking figures (score, accuracy, time) — never your email address or individual answers.

Data stored on your device

Your browser keeps a small amount of local data: your theme preference and the in-progress state of an active test, so a refresh does not lose your answers. Sign-in tokens issued by the authentication provider are also kept in browser storage to keep you logged in.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Session information is stored in your browser to keep you signed in. Aggregate, non-identifying usage analytics may be collected by our hosting provider to monitor site performance.

Third-party services

We rely on a managed cloud provider for authentication and database hosting, Google for optional social sign-in, and a hosting/CDN provider for delivering the site. These providers process data on our behalf and may log standard request information such as IP address for security purposes.

Deleting your data

Use 'Clear history' on the Performance Dashboard to permanently delete your stored attempts. If you want your entire account and profile removed, contact us through the Contact page and we will delete it.

Children's privacy

The platform is intended for graduate-level exam aspirants and is not directed at children.

If the data we collect changes, this page will be updated before the change ships and the update will be clearly communicated.
